Andi Fetzner MA, LAC joins the ACEs Connection Network as the Los Angeles Community Manager. A recent transplant to California from Arizona, Andi brings with her passion and expertise in training and social connecting. Her experience and education in Political Science and Psychology gives her a unique perspective on how ACEs Science will unfold as a social movement worldwide. Andi studied at Arizona State University (B.A.), University of Phoenix (M.A.), and is earning her PsyD through California Southern University. Not to be eclipsed by her education are her passion and voice. When she was 2 years old, her mother wrote in her baby book, “She speaks clearly and constantly.” Her outspokenness now serves the ACEs community in furthering the message of hope and resiliency.
She has worked both at the grassroots and legislative level to increase awareness within communities and systems of care on ACEs and their implications. Her work in training clinical professionals and para-professionals through the Arizona Trauma Institute and Maricopa County ACEs Consortium started a movement within Arizona to increase awareness of ACEs Science within the courts, schools, and health care providers. She recently founded Origins Training & Consulting, an organization whose focus will be on working at the systems level to further integrate the ACEs Science practices. Andi describes a personal relationship with ACEs Science. “It empowers me, and I see it empower others, through creating a sense of unified understanding of what it means to be human. We share common struggles and the need for connection. My goal in this role is to encourage that all voices be heard and considered in the unification of our healing communities.”
