In addition, CAREgivers shows ways in which some organizations are beginning to recognize the need to create supportive systems which nurture their trauma workers and promote staff resilience. The film is being used in select trauma-informed curricula.

Director and Co-Producer of the film, Vic Compher, who is also a licensed clinical social worker, provides workshops on secondary trauma and staff resilience, advising agencies on how to set up programs and develop policies that sustain and nurture staff for the long haul.
