ACEs AWARE CONSULTANTS FOR FACILITATION AND REPORT RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ)
First 5 LA has released a Request for Qualifications for consultants to support ACEs Aware. The ACEs Aware initiative seeks to change and save lives by helping Medi-Cal providers understand the importance of screening for Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and training them to respond with trauma-informed care. First 5 LA was selected by Office of the California Surgeon General and Department of Health Care Services to engage in provider engagement activities.
First 5 LA is seeking to contract with individuals or organizations interested in serving as a consultant. Please note that First 5 LA expects to enter into two separate agreements: 1) meeting facilitation (e.g., coordinate, convene and facilitate meetings); and 2) report research and development (e.g., conduct literature review, coordinate and conduct interviews with subject matter experts, and draft proceedings reports and practice paper). Proposers can apply for both tasks but are required to submit a separate application for each task outlined below. If one proposer is selected for both tasks, First 5 LA would enter into one agreement.
The RFQ is posted on the First 5 LA Funding Center at https://www.first5la.org/article/aces-aware-consultants-request-for-qualifications-rfq/. Completed proposals will be accepted through 5:00 pm PT on November 30, 2020.
