Re: La Puente could be declared a ‘sanctuary city’ for immigrants, Muslims, LGBTQ people (pasadenastarnews.com)
It saddens me that we have to even think about having a sanctuary city and that we cannot seem to live in harmony with one another. Understanding that the isolation is for safety's sake, but still saddened. I hold hope that as we inform about ACEs and how we are more similar than different, we are creating more safe spaces where empathy and unconditional love is the goal.
