The Mother-Baby Program at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, has received a transformational gift to create a Center for Family Healing to support the health and wellbeing of children and families, rooted in core values of equity, social justice, and the healing power of relationships.
The Center for Family Healing is seeking applicants for the Director of Operations position that will provide strategic and operational oversight of the five components of the Center: Clinical Services, Integrative Health Services, a Child Development Center, Training and Research, and a Trauma-Informed Care Resource Hub.
The Director of Operations will work in partnership with the Director of Clinical Services, the Medical Director, and Pediatric Medical Director to lead and support a dynamic interdisciplinary team and foster a trauma-informed environment that prioritizes community voice, reduces unintended system harm, and realizes that our wisest investments belong with children and their caregivers.
At a time when even more families and communities are at risk of discrimination and violence, this Center will be a countervailing force to both respond to the immediate needs of children and families as well as shape healthcare delivery through two-generation, integrative, and trauma-healing approaches to family health and healing.
Qualified candidates will hold a master’s degree or higher in Nursing, Public Health, Hospital Administration, Business, Mental Health or related field and have at least 5 years of clinical or management experience. Preferred qualifications include candidates with demonstrated experience and expertise in serving underserved, minority families, trauma-informed care, and a strong foundation in social justice and equity.
