From flu shots to mental health screenings to all kinds of advice, Napa's Bi-National Health and Wellness Fair has been a time each September to point Latino residents toward the help they need, in whatever form they need.
On Sunday, hundreds arrived at the 13th annual health fair outside the local Kaiser Permanente office for health screenings and other support. But this year, the fear of a hardening federal stance toward immigrants inspired the addition of workshops for those seeking citizenship or the continued right to stay in the U.S. and had event organizers hoping to hold onto their audience.
