Dr. Barry is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine and the Department of Family and Community Medicine. She is a licensed Clinical Psychologist, with a specialization in Health Psychology. She completed her Masterβs Thesis on the prevalence of trauma within primary care and currently studies the effect of trauma within primary care. She has a strong interest in curricular development for other healthcare professionals, focusing on trauma and wellness.
Courtney Barry will present ACEs prevalence data that she has collected in her setting and the various projects that have transpired from that. Also, she will present the publication below and attached, which is a lit review that she and her colleagues conducted on TIC curricula and were hoping to get feedback from the group.
