National Movement to Prevent Trauma and Foster Resilience

This information was shared from New Hanover Resiliency Task Force leader, Tina Pearson. The focus of this week’s workshop in the Building A National Movement to Prevent Trauma and Foster Resilience Series is Justice Systems and Child Welfare. January Monthly Meeting Updates

Coming up on Friday, February 4 at noon there will be a free screening of the film Resilience and a panel discussion focused on Black Resilience. New Opportunities for Learning and Training Foundations of Resilience Your journey to becoming trauma-informed and resiliency-focused begins with this two-part virtual training offered by the Resiliency Task Force. Participants will be introduced to the concepts of ACEs, toxic stress, trauma, and how they impact individuals and communities.

Free Resilience Film Screening and Panel Discussion Focused on Black Resilience

Join us for February's screening of RESILIENCE at Cameron Art Museum which will center Black resilience and highlight the work of Stephen Hayes. February 4 at Noon there will be a screening of the film Resilience and a panel discussion focused on Black Resilience as well an an opportunity to view the incredible work of Stephen Hayes.
