We are excited to share the External Report from the 2021 NC Statewide Virtual Policy Institutes co-hosted by Prevent Child Abuse NC and the NC Collaborative for Children, Youth, and Families. We are so glad if you could join us for one or more of the four webinars where we heard from some amazing speakers and advocates. If you couldn't join us, links to each webinar are listed below.
These events were an enormous success with 100% of attendees across all four institutes marking that they were either “satisfied” or “very satisfied” with the youth and parent keynotes.

Prevention happens in partnership and your voice is what evokes change for the families of NC – we hope that you feel that you benefitted from each presentation.
Our goal is to empower communities to support policies that promote safe, stable, and nurturing environments for families and children. One way we achieve that is by ensuring our events and resources remain accessible to everyone, including offering these statewide policy institutes free-of-cost.
Keep an eye out for a follow-up survey from us in the Spring to find out what advocacy you’ve worked on in the time since these institutes. We cannot wait to learn about all the great work you are doing to support the health, safety, wellbeing, and success of children, youth, and families across North Carolina and beyond!
In case you missed them, all four institutes were recorded and can be viewed at the links below. If you would like resources that were shared for any of the Institutes, please contact me at mrosewaters@
