Please join us today at noon for our WCCI Wednesday Conversation. In honor of September being Suicide Prevention Awareness month, we will be talking with local professionals and people with lived experience about community mental health supports, shattering stigma, and how difficult it can be to not only know you need support but to engage in supportive relationships when you are struggling.
Joining us will be Holly Robinson, director of Daymark Recovery Services, Inc., Mary McKinney, a local therapist who is also passionate about shattering stigma in the faith and broader community, and Ashley Wurth, clinical case manager for Recovery on the Inside (a jail-based program that does assessment, support, and referrals).
We will also be sharing details about the newly formed Community Mental Health Project. The mission is to improve quality of life and help prevent loss of life around mental health and addiction. We need your help! You can support this work by spreading the word - join us to learn more!
Hope you can be with us!
Please share widely.
