Today at noon: Pets and Human Trauma ~ Important Connections and Concerns with Dr. Maureen MacNamara

Please join us today at noon for our WCCI Wednesday Conversation. We will be talking with Dr. Maureen MacNamara, a professor in the Department of Social Work at ASU. She developed the first in the nation training and screening for individuals and their animals to work in animal -assisted therapy and activity programs.

We will be talking about trauma and animals. Animal/pet cruelty is important as it is an ACE for many folks. Our talk will help providers better understand the link between animal cruelty and trauma. She will share statistics and the importance of assessing for animal cruelty-related trauma.

Please share widely.
