Trillium Family Fun Day in Hampstead attracts almost 1,000 people; Family Fun Day planned for Elizabeth City June 26th

The Kiwanis Park in Hampstead was alive with family fun with the help of the Trillium One Connection department on Saturday, June 19th.

"This event was for kids of all ages and all abilities, at it was held at our wonderful inclusive playground. We heard many comments from community partners about how much fun it was!

"It was great to see co-workers we hadn't seen in 18 months, to see friends in the community, and all the children have fun and enjoy themselves. I was proud that Trillium sponsored the event to give our families the chance to forget about the pandemic for a bit," said Kim Heck, System of Care Coordinator for Trillium Health Resources.

Another family fun day is planned for Saturday, June 26th in Elizabeth City at Fun Junktion at 983 Simpson Ditch Road, from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
