We’re working with all levels of government to ensure a unified approach to the coronavirus response here in Sonoma County and that the needs of our communities are being met.
We also want to make sure you have the latest, most accurate information from the medical professionals who are on the front lines combating this virus and how you can best protect yourself and your family.
As part of these efforts, we are partnering with the County of Sonoma to host a Telephone Town Hall this Wednesday, May 20 at 6:30 p.m. and we would love it if you could join us.
We’ll provide the very latest updates from the Sonoma County public health officer, we’ll update you on our local economy and give a critical briefing on the statewide response from a UC infectious disease physician. Of course, you’ll be able to email questions ahead of time and in real-time during Wednesday’s Telephone Town Hall.
Here are the details:
Who: Senator Mike McGuire; the Sonoma County public health officer; a leading economist from Sonoma State; and a University of California physician focused on infectious diseases.
What: Telephone Town Hall to provide the latest updates on our response to the coronavirus.
When: This Wednesday, May 20 at 6:30 p.m.
How to attend: Dial 844-721-7241, enter code 1627254 and follow the prompts. You will be connected to the live town hall via telephone and you will be able to listen to the speakers providing critical updates. The town hall will be limited to the first 1,000 participants.
How to ask a question and get involved with the Town Hall: Email your questions and comments in advance and in real time during the telephone town hall to: Senator.McGuire@Senate.ca.gov
Stay up to date on coronavirus efforts across the state and here at home via the California Coronavirus Response website (http://covid19.ca.gov) and the County of Sonoma’s web page (https://socoemergency.org).
We look forward to talking with you at the Telephone Town Hall on Wednesday! Have a good weekend!
Warm regards,
MIKE McGUIRE
