We had our Paper Tigers Showing on Tuesday.
This is a short update.
We had 65 people there. It was a huge showing for our area. PEOPLE WANT TO LEARN A LOT MORE!!!
I have several evaluation forms to compile, but unfortunately, I only printed off 40 so we didn't have enough...
REGARDLESS: EVERYONE RATED THE MOVIE AS EXCELLENT AND PEOPLE LEARNED ALOT AND WANT TO LEARN MORE!!
WE HAD
- PARENTS
- TEACHERS
- AN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR
- A JUVENILE PROBATION OFFICER
- SOCIAL WORKERS
- ADMINISTRATORS
- COMMUNITY MEMBERS
- DOCTORS
- MENTAL HEALTH PROVIDERS
- AND MANY OTHERS
AND SINCE THE SHOWING, SEVERAL HAVE ASKED US HOW THEY CAN GET THE MOVIE TO SHOW FOR THEIR SCHOOL SYSTEMS.
SO TODAY I WILL SEE IT AT THE AAP, MAYBE I CAN MENTION HOW WE USED THE MOVIE IN OUR RURAL COMMUNITY TO WORK ACROSS SECTORS TO CREATE TRAUMA-INFORMED COMMUNITIES AND
I'LL WILL BE SPREADING IT DOWNSTATE IN THE THUMB (RURAL TOO).
I WILL WRITE UP SOMETHING BETTER LATER WHEN I GET A CHANCE!!!!!!
Thanks to our NORTHEAST MICHIGAN TRAUMA INFORMED COMMUNITY ACTION TEAM!!!
