I would love to attend, but it is the same day as the Governor's Task Force conference on human sex trafficking. It is held at the GT Resort.

We had a great meeting with our local Human Services Coordinating Committee today. It was a great opportunity to reach out to others. We also received the opportunity to put our survey monkey community ACEs Survey on the Alpena Public Schools Facebook Page which will give us a great opportunity to reach out for a more comprehensive local ACEs survey as they recently had 50,000 views. MICHIGAN (WPBN/WGTU)-- Child poverty has increased in 80 out of 83 counties in Michigan, according to reports by the Michigan League for Public Policy advocacy group. According to MLPP's report, child poverty increased 23 percent statewide from 2006-2014 and the rate of child abuse and neglect also increased in most Michigan counties, up 29 percent statewide compared to 2006.
