A hug may be comforting to many children, but for a child who has experienced trauma it may not feel safe.

Hi Marlene, Gosh, wouldn't it be healing for all of our youth and adults in the justice systems to be surrounded by messages of hope and love. They've all been traumatized in myriad ways and to have these messages permeating through the climate of their institutions would be such powerful messaging of our humanity's intention of helping each other heal.
