Pender task force has a wonderful meeting where folks started off by sharing why they were there and a lot of member shared their deep belief in this work and how important it is for Pender County. Other shared how they want to learn and become more aware of resilience. Someone shared how this task force has helped them learn things that have change their life personally, their family and those they work with.
Amy Read, shared Mental Health First Aid training opportunities and how folks can sign up to take the course as well as invite Coastal to come do a training for their organizations.

The group is looking at changing the date and time of the monthly meeting as well as working toward alternating between information meetings and work group meetings. There will be no July meeting and monthly meetings will continue in August.
