Integrating Reproductive Life Planning for Behavioral Health Settings

Reproductive life planning (RPL) is a counseling and educational approach for working with clients to set goals around if and when they plan to have children in the future. It assists clients with identifying their future plans and priorities, selecting appropriate contraceptive methods if needed, and utilizing other family planning strategies, including accessing affordable sexual and reproductive health services that will enable them to achieve their goals. In this workshop, we will review RPL tools and discuss strategies for integrating this conversation into a behavioral health client encounter.
