Stories, Resilience and Self-Care:
Changing the Story Through Trauma Informed Care
Working In Camden means working in an environment of toxic-stress.  The impact of this environment is profound for all who live here and work here.

Join the Healing 10 for an amazing day focused on practical skills of self-care.  Resilency is an excercise that requires day to day attention.  This workshop will be just that---helping to focus you and your organization on key aspects of your life and work so that you can be present, attentive and life giving to those you encounter day to day.

The stories we learn, believe, create and perpetuate shape our frame of reference and beliefs. The affect every connection we have, and the lives of those who follow us. What story do you believe about the impact of overwhelming events your life? More important, how can you change that story for the future?  This one day  event offers people the opportunity to explore their own story solo, talk about the impact of social perceptions on the story they carry; how we all fulfill each other’s story; the task of changing the story and the role self-care and meaning making take in a changed future.  We’ll do as the Hawaiians do and “talk story,” we’ll learn about the second hand impact of overwhelming events and circumstances, and we’ll practice new stories. Expect to be engaged!

Diane,

This is a problem a number of users (including our founder Jane!) are having due to their mail program stripping out the HTML of these types of emails, which sounds like what is also happening in your case. Unfortunately we have not found a solution. Jane plans to explore it further through Apple support, but believes it will take some serious digging. She will let you know if she finds out anything useful.

Thanks for your patience.

Hi Alicia,
When I get these emails and open them, there is only the message you see below, i.e., nothing to click on to take me to an article or bit of news. I'm not sure what to do with it. I asked our tech person and he said he didn't know either and that I should contact you.

Thanks,

Diane
