Recently Funded Projects (8-1-19)
To date, we've awarded about $83.4 million to support 415 projects through the Engagement Awards program.
In the past month, we approved about $3.1 million in new awards to support projects including:
- A project led by ARC XVI Fort Washington Inc. to build capacity for dissemination of PCORI-funded falls prevention research to older adults, senior-service providers, clinicians, and academic researchers.
- An initiative from the Global Healthy Living Foundation to engage and train patients and stakeholders to disseminate PCORI-funded research on effective chronic pain management to peers in their communities.
- An undertaking by Wayne State University to develop best practices for the engagement of black men in cancer-related PCOR, create a cancer-related PCOR agenda, and share best practices and research priorities to stakeholders in the broader community.
- A convening led by the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center to build capacity for the dissemination of PCORI-funded research that supports patients and providers to make informed insomnia treatment decisions.
