Please join us for a rich day of peer learning and sharing on trauma-informed care (TIC) implementation at Oregon health centers. This workshop will go beyond making the case or sharing basic information about TIC. We’ll spend the day focusing on strategies and tactics for TIC implementation in health centers across the state; learning resources on foundational knowledge of TIC will be shared in advance if you need to get up to speed before the event. This event will serve as the launch for additional OPCA programming on TIC in 2019 and 2020, including webinars, accountability buddies, and additional learning opportunities.
Specifically, participants will…
- Learn from each other and expert presenters on promising practices for organizational adoption of trauma-informed care
- Engage in team-planning time to advance your health center’s TIC plans
- Form a relationship with another health center as “TIC buddies” for providing mutual accountability and support for your implementation efforts over time
Suggested Audience All Oregon community health center members are invited to attend. This event is well-suited for health center leaders and staff who have a particular interest in or role in leading TIC implementation, including CHC leadership, medical directors and provider champions, operations directors, behavioral and mental health leaders and clinicians, and quality improvement, program, and implementation staff.
Partners and funders who receive this invitation are welcome to attend. If partners have colleagues who are interested in attending, please connect with us at events@orpca.org. Thank you for understanding!
