Great pandemic resilience building activities for youth by ITRC CA steering committee member Lil Milagro Henriquez

I hope everyone is staying safe during these perilous times. I wanted to share some of the resources that Mycelium Youth Network is putting together. I'm extremely proud of the programming that we've put together and the community partners that we're working with for these projects. We've put together comprehensive youth and adult programming all designed with mental, socio-emotional, and physical resilience in mind. A full listing of classes can be accessed on our website. All of our youth classes start the week of March 30th. All of our youth classes will begin and end with mindfulness practices and emotional check-ins.
  • Tuesdays, 3 - 4 pm PST Plant Medicine and Gardening (4th and 5th grade)
  • Wednesdays, 2 - 3 pm PST Plant Medicine and Gardening (middle school and high school)
  • Thursday, 10 - 10:45 am PST Environmental Science (3rd - 4th grade)
For adults, we have a series of webinars and seminars coming up:

We are trying to finalize our 'Ask a Doctor' virtual sessions where folks will be able to directly ask a question to a community doctor with a youth specific segment as well as a direct gardening science class for high schoolers.

Please help us spread the word! These classes are not just for the Bay area

May your health be as strong as your wifi,
