8th ANNUAL UNITY BASKETBALL GAME AND COMMUNITY RESOURCE FAIR

Riverside, CA – The Riverside County NAACP Youth Council, in partnership with the Riverside Police Department, invites our community to attend the 8th Annual Unity Basketball Game and Community Resource Fair on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Location: Bordwell Park in Riverside, located at 2008 Martin Luther King Boulevard.

There will be:
• Information and resource booths,
• Police & Fire Displays public safety displays
• Law enforcement recruitment tables
•,Hot Dogs, Chips & Water (While supplies last)
• KONA Ice
• Pick Up Basketball

"Breaking Bread together was a series of conversations that the Riverside County NAACP Youth Council had with Riverside Police Officers. The culmination activity is the Unity Basketball Game, an opportunity for the community to come together and get to know each other,” stated Sharron Lewis, Riverside County NAACP Youth Council Advisor.
Riverside Police Chief Larry Gonzalez went on to say, “We have learned just as much from engaging with the youth through Breaking Bread Together as they have with us, and we are proud of the partnership we’ve shared with the Riverside NAACP for so long. Any opportunity to strengthen these community relationships, especially with our young people, is something we won’t pass up.”

The 8TH Annual Unity Basketball Game and Community Resource Fair is free and open to the public.
