Hello and welcome to the Resilient Amador page on ACEs Connection. In 2017, in response to the ACEs Study findings and community needs, the Amador Child Abuse Prevention Council and a wide range of community partners took a collective impact approach by developing Resilient Amador.
This community-wide solution to ACEs is working on prevention efforts and improving services through trauma-informed approaches and services within our diverse communities. Working together we can create a trauma-informed community through education, prevention, support, and advocacy.
Though we are in the early stages of our collective work, we are already building momentum in bringing more awareness of the effects of trauma as well as creating ways of building resilience in those that call Amador County home.
Please know we welcome your voice, participation, and contributions in person and online. Check our calendar for upcoming meetings and events.
