Community Partners,
Although current physical distancing guidelines have proven challenging, we are committed to continuing the conversation on how we can better support and engage fathers in our community. This is important at a time when many fathers are spending more time at home, navigating visitation amidst current restrictions, and dealing with the additional stress and uncertainty that we are all experiencing.
We are excited to offer a virtual screening opportunity of the film, “Daddy Don’t Go”. This documentary raises many questions about how policies and systems can affect families and fathers, and the struggles that many may go through to be “good” fathers. Please share with anyone interested in this topic. The screening will be followed by a virtual community discussion on Friday, May 1st at 10am, hosted by Brandon Gregory, Fatherhood Coordinator at You Medical. Details can be found in the attached flyer. Thank you for your support of this program, and for all you do to serve families in our community!
