We are excited to announce a free community screening of Daddy Don’t Go, a documentary about the struggles and barriers many fathers face. Research shows that father-child relationships are crucial to a child’s social, emotional and academic development, and even their physical health. Unfortunately, many fathers in our community do not feel they have the support they need to develop healthy, nurturing relationships with their children.

This will be the first event sponsored by the Fatherhood Alliance of Benton & Franklin Counties, and will be a great opportunity to learn more about the work being done around fatherhood in our community. The screening will take place on November 14^th from 6:30-8:30pm at Uptown Theatre in Richland, WA. It will be followed by a panel discussion on some of the issues facing fathers in Benton and Franklin counties, and what our community can do to help support them.
