Welcome/Introductions/Icebreaker was given. Icebreaker question: What is your one wish for the children of the world? Some answers were that children can grow up in healthy, loving environments, that children don't have to grow up too quickly, and that children will be safe from harm.
A brainstorm/IdeaBoardz asked: what do you want our focus to be for 2023? What do you want to learn? What do you want to do as a committee? Ideas have been added to the IdeaBoardz for viewing and upvotes. Some ideas brought forth were parental involvement, family engagement, building bridges of change, better communication of resources, breaking down stigmas in Bladen around asking for help and using resources, and rebuilding/building trust in the community.
