Children’s Memorial Flag raising April 27th at 10AM
Flags will be raised throughout Northern California in recognition of children who have been lost to abuse or neglect. The flag is an image of six children holding hands, one child is an outline -
representing the one in six children impacted by abuse or neglect.

Local government representatives are asked to establish a legislative platform specific to protecting children and families through use of marijuana tax revenue: 20% by 2020
Lake and Del Norte Counties are planning children's festivals, recognizing heroes and sharing parenting and resource information
Del Norte County is ramping up their Parent Cafes during the month of April
Communities are hosting candidates’ night meetings and inviting those running for office to attend. The discussion is 100% focused on children and families - elevating the needs of children and families as a priority government decision making.
To kick off April, Gabby Grant is presenting April 3 at an event hosted by Mendocino/Lake CASA in coordination with Strategies 2.0 Learning Community and the event will be live streamed in several additional communities.
