Ever heard of the sayings to always eat before making groceries, and don't allow your eyes to be bigger than your appetite? Well, I am here to share common tips for individuals to eliminate overeating and food addiction. Here are a few warning signs where over consumption of caloric intake may be present.
-Consuming calories in excess, even when the stomach is full.
-Consuming extra calories in place of an activity that brings enjoyment.
-The onset of uncomfortable symptoms such as: acid reflux, nausea, diarrhea, or gastrointestinal pain.
-Eating just because food is present.

-Include fiber rich foods in your daily diet to feel fuller longer.
-Avoid skipping meals to prevent overeating.
-Limit intake of foods that are easy to over consume.
-Drink at least 8-12 glasses of water per day, as this will keep hydration at bay, and allows the stomach to feel fuller.
-Be mindful of true signs of hunger.
-Include mindful eating practices during food consumption.
-Try your best not to eat in front of television.
-Try your best to understand why you began this journey towards better health.
