ANOTHER CHOICE, ANOTHER CHANCE ANNOUNCING AUDITIONS FOR “TRIGGER”  

Another Choice, Another Chance announces auditions for the play “TRIGGER” written and directed by DeAngelo Mack and cast. The cast of 8 is comprised of  4 female teen/young adults, 3 male teen/young adults and 1 adult male

THE PLAY

TRIGGER will touch on the historical and generation trauma that young people of color face while growing up in unserved and underserved communities. It will address the link between adverse childhood experiences and chronic health and social disparities that we all face when growing up with trauma.

TRIGGER follows 7 young adults through a journey of discovery and healing.  The play dives into the early childhood adversities and generational trauma that each of them have experienced. When they are required to attend a self-care group that challenges their belief in a world they feel has forgotten them they soon realize that they all have something in common.  

CASTING

The play is calling for individuals of color, 15 to 24 years old who are interested in acting, writing, or directing for a stage production. Please prepare a short monologue, poem or speech to be read/performed at the auditions. Bios and head shots are preferred but not required. THERE IS NO FORMAL EXPERIENCE NEEDED, however previous stage work WILL be considered in final casting. All selected cast members will receive a stipend for their involvement in the play.*
