Resilient Sacramento PACEs Connection Monthly Meeting

Join Resilient Sacramento on Thursday April 13  at 3PM for our monthly meeting. The guest speaker this month will be Shaunda Cruz, Deputy Chief Sacramento Probation Department. Shaunda has been a long standing member of Resilient Sacramento and is involved in promoting ACEs work in the Probation Department. She will share about the strategic giving grant Sacramento County received from Health Net for the purpose of designing training for use throughout Sacramento County departments and community agencies that addresses the impact of community childhood trauma and establishes a standardized common language and definition of trauma. During the meeting you will also hear about the Sacramento Board of Supervisors Proclamation to declare May ACEs Aware and Resiliency Awareness Month and how you can take part in the event happening on May 4th when the proclamation will be presented during the Board of Supervisor's meeting.
