The City of Sacramento presents the 2018 Violence Reduction Summit on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center, located at 6151 H Street in Sacramento.
Come and hear morning speakers including Mayor Darrell Steinberg, Councilmember Eric Guerra, and Sacramento Police Chief Daniel Hahn, plus see a preview of the forthcoming documentary “Cyber Banging” by filmmaker Cory D. Jackson of the 916 Hollywood Initiative.
This Summit will bring together cross-sections of our community including law enforcement, schools, social services, criminal justice systems, community-based service providers, public health, and faith leaders, among others. Presented as an exceptional networking forum for those involved in this work, the Summit will feature keynote presentations, a dynamic panel, interactive activities, table exercises, and special guests.
