An exciting new clinical training “Integrating Somatic Psychotherapy and EMDR Therapy” is coming to the Bay Area for the first time early next year. This unique blend, called Natural Processing, will be held in Berkeley, Feb. 26-29, 2016.
In this intensive four-day training therapists will learn how to assess and intervene from a somatic perspective, in conjunction with EMDR, to pace the work, track resiliency and deepen processing in therapy.
The course includes dynamic presentation, demonstration-video, discussion, and extended practicums. It is limited to 27 participants to provide an intimate and personal experience.
This is an advanced EMDR course, so participants must have prior basic training in EMDR. Participants across the full spectrum of somatic background have expressed that these four days meet them at the edge of their growth, from those working as assistants in other somatic training programs to those with no formal somatic training.
