About the Program
The decennial census plays an essential role in American democracy, ensuring the right number of political representatives and helping to determine hundreds of billions of federal dollars for states and localities. The stakes are huge for California—and concern is mounting as federal preparations lag. Please join us for a special event on Census 2020 and the critical role it plays in the state’s future. This event will feature distinguished leaders and experts from the federal, state, and local level in a wide-ranging dialogue on actions needed to ensure an accurate count.
Supported with funding from the California Community Foundation, the California Endowment, and the California Health Care Foundation.
There is no charge to attend, but space is limited. Lunch will be provided. This event will also be webcast live.
