Please join Healthy Chula Vista, the Chula Vista Community Collaborative Youth Coalition and our partners as we explore the impacts of childhood trauma on long term health and the ways our community can all help youth cope and become thriving adults at a screening and discussion of the new documentary RESILIENCE: THE BIOLOGY OF STRESS & THE SCIENCE OF HOPE.  The film will be followed by a resource fair of youth service providers in Chula Vista and the south bay. Resilience: The Biology of Stress and the Science of Hope A Documentary Screening & Resource Fair

Childhood trauma doesn’t end in childhood. Its effects ripple through adulthood unless young people are taught how to cope. Resilience: The Biology of Stress and the Science of Hope explores the emerging science of toxic stress on children and offers innovative solutions for helping vulnerable young people become thriving adults.

Join The San Diego Foundation, County of San Diego, South Bay Youth Coalition and our partners for a special screening of Jamie Redford’s Sundance-debuted film Resilience. Find out from regional experts, educators, and service providers how to help build resilience in our community to create bright futures for generations to come.
