Brand of Brothers is a boutique style resource event that offers a day of care and connection to male-identified youth in vulnerable populations. We provide free, haircuts, food, entertainment and resources to Transition Aged Youth (TAY) 14-26 years old.
TAY males have been generally neglected and the lack of resources and community efforts specific to their needs is severe. TAY males are facing the impacts of this at alarming rates, representing 51% of the prison population and 50% of the dropout rate; a high number of them experiencing homelessness and the rate of completed suicides being 5x more likely than their female counterparts.
Brand of Brothers is the first event of its kind ensuring that TAY males are suited for success. We create an environment that also engages these young men with relatable positive role models, peers and mentors dedicated to increasing the amount of support for our youth. Last year served nearly 100 youth and this year we project to increase our impact.
