Children's storytime with Mayor Todd Gloria
About the book:
Written by Hunter Hacket and illustrated by Anisi Baigude.
Published by the San Diego Public Library.
Visiting the library is pretty much Odi the Coyote's favorite thing to do, but today is different. Odi is getting a library card because it's National Library Day.
About the Mayor:
Todd Gloria is the first person of color and the first LGBTQ person to serve as San Diego’s mayor. A native San Diegan, Gloria’s career in public service was inspired by a lesson his parents – a hotel maid and a gardener – taught him: If you care about something, then you should leave it better than you found it.
