Project LIFE (Living In Freedom from Exploitation) at North County Lifeline will be hosting a full-day symposium for first responders, community members, and anyone working with survivors of human trafficking. This innovative event will take place Thursday, March 28, 2019 at the San Diego Central Library, Shiley Event Suite from 8:30am to 4:00pm. Our symposium will specifically address the impact of human trafficking on victims and survivors who are men, boys, or members of the LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning, or Queer) community.
Come hear from male and LGBTQ survivors of human trafficking as well as the San Diego Human Trafficking Task Force (SDHTTF), San Diego District Attorney, Summer Stephan, and industry expert Jim Struve, who will be among the day's informative guest speakers.
*Continuing Education Credits will be offered to registered Board of Behavioral Science attendees.**
