Call for Presentations!
Breakout Session Presentations
Presentations are 60-minutes in length and must include a question and answer period. Copies of slides/PowerPoint are required four weeks prior to conference date, additional handouts are recommended on the day of the conference. Primary Audience: people working in behavioral health. Participation in conference and lunch are included for a maximum of three presenters per breakout session.
Poster Presentations
Posters (on a 2’ x 3’ poster board) visually identify and represent programs or projects and display information that helps conference participants grasp concepts or findings at a glance and encourages discussion of the details of the work with the author. Poster sessions occur during the resource fair and provide an opportunity to discuss research findings and to network with colleagues. Poster presentation participants ARE NOT registered to attend conference activities, please complete registration if planning to attend conference activities.
WHAT TO SUBMIT
1. Completed Application Form, on or before 7/31/2018
2. Current CV or resume, bio (125-word maximum), and head shot of the presenter(s).
3. Written description of presentation, not to exceed two double spaced typed pages (minimum 250 words). Include what special interest topic your presentation covers and how it relates to the 2018 conference theme.
4. Outline of presentation, including goals and objectives, including timelines for each topic to be covered in your presentation, including Q&A.
5. Method of presentation (interactive, didactic, multimedia, participatory).
