Montgomery Middle School will host a screening of the film Paper Tigers, Directed by James Redford and Executive Produced by Karen Pritzker, on November 18, 2015 at 5:30 pm
The film, Paper Tigers follows a year in the life of an alternative high school in Walla Walla, WA, that has radically changed its approach to disciplining its students, and in the process has become a promising model for how to break the cycles of poverty, violence and disease that affect families.

WHY: Empowering the community to embrace Trauma Informed Care and make pro-active, positive changes in the way we meet the needs of our students.
Paper Tigers is designed to spark dialogue and offer hope to schools and youth struggling with dropout rates, truancy, violence, abuse and drug use.
Donations of any amount would be greatly appreciated. The proceeds will be used to support Community Engagement and Parent Education at Montgomery Middle School.
