The Emerging Science of Violence Prevention & 10th Anniversary Celebration & Awards Reception

The National Network for Safe Communities (NNSC), an internationally recognized action research center at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, provides proven, evidence-based, life-saving violence reduction strategies to dozens of communities across America and beyond. In June 2019, NNSC will simultaneously commemorate the 10th Anniversary of this impactful work and host our biennial National Conference - The Emerging Science of Violence Prevention from June 18-19.

Join us and influential leaders in law enforcement, government, academia, and community organizations for two engaging days to focus on innovations in criminal justice. It will be a unique opportunity to learn about ideas concrete ways to achieve safer communities. The conference will highlight The Emerging Science of Violence Prevention, along with developments in focused deterrence, community support & outreach, data & metrics, reconciliation, and intersectionality.:

Our 10th Anniversary Celebration & Awards Reception is a ticketed event, and will begin at 6pm on June 18th and end at 9pm.
