To educate and empower individuals to understand the impacts of trauma including generational trauma and develop a trauma informed care approach to working with clients, participants, and colleagues.

Objectives:
- Explore importance of being trauma informed
- Understand the prevalence of trauma and impacts on individuals including racialized trauma
- Learn key elements of trauma informed care
- Develop trauma informed practice tools
- Apply trauma informed care to work with clients/participants/
individuals
Process:
Interactive and experiential learning during the workshop with opportunities to reflect, share, and practice skills and apply to real life experiences.
