Hi All! Please find attached the 2016 booklet for the Mobilizing Action for Resilient Communities (MARC) project, including San Diego and the other 13 communities that have been selected to participate in this 2 year learning collaborative. This is a great summary of the work happening in all 14 communities across the country. Yes! The Compton lawsuit is huge. The momentum is building! As we've covered in previous stories on the education front, school wide transformation is most effective when social emotional learning, restorative, and trauma-informed approaches are interwoven into every level of the system, from janitor to teachers to students to parents to principals. Awareness about health outcomes are as much about the long-term impact caused by adverse childhood experiences as they are by positive childhood experiences. By providing education on trauma-informed awareness and resilience building frameworks, the CRC Accelerator certification is a tool for both.

March marks the final month of the granting period for the CRC Accelerator. Here are the next steps for certification or a certificate of participation.
