The film Resilience, featuring a talk by the renowned physician and researcher, Dr. Vincent J. Felitti, is hosted by Price Philanthropies, OUTreach (SDSU's LGBTQIA Student Organization), and the Title IV-E Child Welfare Program at SDSU and is a SDSU Student Success Fee event.
The screening of the film Resilience is a follow-up to the film Paper Tigers, a sold-out event at SDSU last year. It chronicles the birth of a new movement among pediatricians, therapists, educators and communities, who are using cutting-edge research to disrupt cycles of violence, addiction, and disease. This one-hour documentary delves into the science of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and the movement to treat and prevent toxic stress.
