About the Opportunity
Twice a year, in the spring and fall, we request research proposals via the UCSF Resource Allocation Program (RAP). The spring RAP applications are due by March 1st.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for proposals focused on:
- Reducing preterm birth rates
- Addressing racial disparities in preterm birth and/or
- Improving birth outcomes for preterm babies among Black, Indigenous and people of color (BIPOC)
We are particularly interested in topics prioritized by our communities in San Francisco, Oakland and Fresno.

Pre-application Webinar with our Community Advisory Board
We offer applicants the opportunity to share their proposal ideas and receive feedback with an emphasis on recruitment and retention strategies, dissemination plans, community engagement and the plain language summary prior to the submission deadline.
