- Ken Epstein, Director, SF DPH Children and Families System of Care and Trauma-Informed Systems Initiative, is co-chair of the five year strategic plan and outcomes committee for the council.

The San Francisco Our Children, Our Families Council consists of up to 42 members, including:
- the Mayor and 13 appointed City department heads
- the Superintendent and up to 13 appointed representatives of the San Francisco Unified School District
- 14 community members appointed by the Mayor.
