The 5th Annual Bridges to Resilience conference is this Wednesday. This live, virtual event focuses on educating and increasing awareness about the widespread impacts of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and provides hopeful strategies to build resilience within our communities and system of care.
Wednesday June 9, 2021
8am - 3pm
Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and toxic stress represent a public health crisis that has been recently recognized by the Office of the California Surgeon General and the California Department of Health Care Services through the ACEs Aware initiative. The impacts of ACEs and toxic stress are treatable. The time to act is now. We can screen for ACEs, respond with evidence-based trauma-informed care, and significantly improve individuals' and families' health and well-being.
Join keynote speaker Robert F. Anda, MS, MD, and experts in the field of trauma and resilience for an interactive and dynamic day of education, resources and collaborative learning. With the support of Californiaβs ACEs Aware Initiative, Bridges to Resilience is designed to link providers with community partners and build resiliency-focused networks of care across the Tri-County region
REGISTER TODAY! Registration closes June 3rd at midnight. (I just checked and it appears that the registration is still open!)
