Target Audience: Family members and caregivers of individuals with mental illness, mental health professionals, social workers, attorneys, and anyone interested in better understanding the intersection of mental illness and the judicial system.

Description: This class offers a comprehensive overview of how families, individuals with mental illness, and the judicial system interact and impact each other. Participants will gain a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with mental illness and their families within the context of the judicial system. Topics will include the role of families in supporting their loved ones, judicial policies and procedures related to mental health, and strategies for effectively navigating and collaborating with the judicial system.
