I’m excited to share an important opportunity for all of us to enhance our skills in suicide prevention. We are offering FREE QPR (Question, Persuade, and Refer) trainings, which will teach us how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and respond effectively. This is an invaluable program that can equip us to make a difference in our community.
Here are the upcoming training sessions:
Santa Maria Center (Allan Hancock College)
- Tuesday, October 29 – 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM (In English)
- Tuesday, November 5 – 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM (In Spanish)
Lompoc Valley Center (Allan Hancock College)
- Wednesday, October 30 – 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM (In English)
- Wednesday, November 6 – 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM (In Spanish)
The trainings are offered both in-person and online, so you can choose the format that works best for you.
