IVYP's vision is a community where children are loved, valued and respected and families are able to reach their highest potential. We are in the midst of a strategic plan, and working to flesh out a Theory of Change. Our working idea is that by building a resilent and connected community, IVYP seeks to mitigate the effects of poverty, racism and trauma so that ALL children and families can prosper and thrive. We are working on resilience through a child centered lens, in our children's center and after-school programs, through a family centered lens, with our family resource center, and through a community centered lens by building a strong and connected Goleta Valley Community Partnership Network. We are working to educate, engage and connect our community around ACEs science and resilience.
We work collectively to educate our community about ACEs, resilience, and trauma-informed care. We exchange ideas, share opportunities and foster connections to transform lives through practical and community-centered solutions.
